When, What & How?

When
Sunday 17 February 2008

Time
From 3 pm to Late

Location
Rundle Park, Cnr of East Terrace and Rundle Road, behind the Garden of Unearthly Delights. Enter through the main gates of the Garden of Unearthly Delights or via Rundle Road.

Where to park
There are numerous private carparks in the East End and although the car spaces around Botanic Park might be an option – remember that the cricket is on at the Adelaide oval.

Public Transport
Rundle Park is in walking distance from the Railway Station and other central CBD locations. If you want to catch a bus the C-line runs every half hour or from Currie and Grenfell Streets you can catch the 141 or 142. These three buses run past the Royal Adelaide Hospital which is close-by to Rundle Park.

What To Bring
It could be very hot on a mid Sunday summer afternoon in Adelaide. We’ve chosen a spot with a lot of tree shade but you will still need to bring a hat and sunscreen. Low beach chairs are allowed but higher chairs will be confiscated, as will be sun shelters. Rugs could be good idea too as it’s on the lawn! You might want to bring a picnic as well.

Alcohol
This is not a BYO event. Alcohol will be on sale throughout the day.
