Overview
The Media Resource Centre (MRC) in Adelaide, South Australia is a member of Screen Development Australia, a national network of organisations which support the development of a strong, innovative and diverse screen industry in Australia.
The MRC provides entry-level to early-career film and digital media makers with access to production equipment, subsidy programs and advice on all aspects of professional and project development, production and marketing.
The MRC manages the Mercury Cinema, which delivers a unique screening program to Adelaide audiences and provides local practitioners with the opportunity to screen their works.

MRC Membership is open to individuals and organisations with an interest in screen culture. Membership provides you with:

  • 30% discount on a comprehensive range of film, video and digital media facilities and equipment
  • 24-hour, 7-day/week access to facilities
  • one free consultation with the MRC Consultant Producer, Digital Media Coordinator or Manager, Development and Programs, Production Support in all aspects of film, video & digital media development, production and marketing
  • discount admission to all CareerMaker workshops, seminars and events
  • LipSync, our bi-monthly newsletter containing a wide range of information such as upcoming events, profiles, hints & tips and opportunities both in Australia and Internationally
  • access to the Adelaide Institute of TAFE's comprehensive reference library

  • inclusion on the MRC Skills Database, used extensively by clients to source production crew
  • regular email information and giveways
