The MRC runs a very successful program of community workshops across South Australia, aimed at fostering access for new practitioners and the development of new stories. These workshops take a number of forms and are customised for the needs of the community.
This year, the MRC will extend its highly successful Filmmaker Bootcamp program.
Filmmakers Boot Camps give participants an intensive, exciting and hands-on introduction to filmmaking. Over five days, you’ll learn all the basics of filmmaking, from script to screen, then you’re set loose in groups to make your own films! The week culminates with a screening and everybody takes home a DVD of their work. All equipment and mentor support is provided by the MRC.
Offered both in house and at a range of community outreach venues.
We all have stories about the events, people, and places in our lives. Digital Stories are short, personal, multimedia tales, told from the heart and anyone can make them.
