QPIX

QPIX is Queensland’s screen resource and development centre, situated in Brisbane Australia. We are committed to developing independent production and independent screen production professionals in Queensland, and to linking the State independent sector with the industry at the national and international levels. QPIX provides a range of integrated services to enable the development, production and exhibition of Queensland film, television and new media.

QPIX was established in May 1997 as an initiative of the Pacific Film and Television Commission (PFTC), the Australian Film Commission (AFC), and screen industry organisations throughout Queensland. QPIX receives the majority of its funding from the PFTC, but is also significantly funded by the AFC. QPIX is a company limited by guarantee which also supports operations by raising its own revenue.

QPIX provides screen practitioners with access to equipment and facilities, low-cost production offices, professional production advice, information services, production opportunities, screening opportunities, key industry-focused training, and a wide range of professional development.

QPIX is generously supported by industry partners KODAK (Australasia), ATLAB (Qld), CAMERAQUIP (Australia), BEEPS Post-Production services, PROCAM, CUTTING EDGE Post, and HYNES Lawyers.
